How to Pay BSNL Landline Bill
BSNL landline bill payment online through portal is extremely easy. Once you go to online payment portal there are many options available which list various BSNL services for which payment can be done online. After choosing this option you will be asked to login to your BSNL account. Signing In to your BSNL account will allow you to not only pay bills but also look at other data related to your registered telephone numbers. For example - you can view past transactions, see the status of bill payments of all the services, generate bill, view any outstanding bills and pay in case bill is not yet paid. However if you do not want to look into other details you can simple choose 'Quickpay' option which allows you to pay instantly without login/ registration. Important BSNL landline bill payment pointers
- Always note down the transaction number which is shown when you do the payment. This transaction number can be used to track the status of bill and view transaction status.
- If you do not see the digital payment receipt after successful payment from your bank account do not try to pay bill again. This situation occurs due to disconnection of internet while paying. BSNL usually receive the confirmation from the BANK, through alternative backup channel and the receipt will be sent to your registered email id.
- If you have already paid the bill and yet it is not updated on BSNL portal or is added to current bill, either go to nearby cash counter of BSNL or pay the entire amount. The excess amount, if any, will be adjusted in the next bill.
- If you are confused whether the bill is paid or not, you can login to your BSNL portal account and check transaction status or go to this page to query transaction status. Here enter you email id, mobile number, and account number (account number is printed on your telephone bill) and submit the form. It will show the status - 'bill paid', 'awaiting bank response', 'failed transaction' etc.
